The Lyric Medly Tag

Hi everyone!

Guinea Pig Lover  did the Lyric Medly Tag, and I asked if I could do it and she said sure! Thanks, Guinea Pig Lover. :D

So here are the rules:

+Thank and link back to the person who tagged you.
+Make a collage that represents your taste in music (or, if you don't feel like it, you can use mine) to use along with your tag post
+List 10 song lyrics (along with song titles and artists) and their genres to go with an emotion/scenario (you can come up with your own or use the ones that the person who tagged you used).
+Tag at least 5 bloggers

Okay, so here we go:

1. Song that makes me want to cry: This Isn't the End by Owl City
She tried to look happy in front of her friends
but knew that she'd never feel normal again
She fought back the tears as they filled her eyes
And wanted him back just to tell him goodbye

2. A song that makes me smile: When Will my Life Begin sung by Mandy Moore
Seven a.m. the usual morning line-up
Start on the chores and sweep 'till the floor's all clean
Polish and wax do laundry and mop and shine up
Sweep again and by then
It's like seven fifteen

3. Song that I have in my head all day: This Day Aria from MLP: FIM
No, I do not love the groom
In my heart
There is no room
But I still want him to be all mine!

4. A song that makes me feel rebellious: Roundtable Rival by Lindsey Stirling
{No lyrics :P}

5. A song that I need to tap my feet whenever I hear it: Speak Life by Tobymac
Somedays, life feels perfect
Other days, it just ain't workin'
The good, the bad, the right, the wrong,
and everything in between

6. Song that makes me feel "fly": Take to the Skies by Owl City
Purple burst of paper birds
This picture paints a thousand words
So take a breath of myth and mystery
And don't look back

7. Song that makes me feel like I'm traveling: Tokoyo by Owl City
Feels like I've been away for a thousand years
So tired of these airports and suvineers {I'm so dumb, how do you spell that?}
I shiver in the night
and I think of you

8. Song that makes me want to dance: Life's Too Short, written by Kristen and Anderson Lopez
Life's too short
To always feel shut out and unloved by the sister I long to know
Life's to short
To never let you never celebrate me, the true queen of the ice and snow

9. Song that makes me feel sad: The Call by Regina Spektor
It started out as a feeling
Which then grew into a hope
Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word
And then that word grew louder and louder
'Till it was a battle cry
I'll come back
When you call me
No need to say goodbye

10. A Song that Reminds me of Summer: Paradise by Coldplay
When she was just a girl
She expected the world
But it flew away from her reach
So she ran away in her sleep
Dreamed of para-para-paradise

~~~
Okay! For some reason, italics always make me feel like I am acting very solemn. :3 I majority of these songs are from Owl city, but the songs were just too perfect. I had to choose them. :3
The nominations:
I can't think of anyone else right off the bat. Ugh. XD If you want to do it, feel free!
  4. Oh my gosh, Francesca Battistelli is awesome!! And I love TobyMac's song "Speak Life".
    BTW, I never listened to Owl City before, but when you wrote once about the song "You're Not Alone" I had to give Adam a try. I love that song to pieces now!! :-D I don't know any other Owl City songs (yet), but I want to check them out now. ;-)
