These Are a Few of My Favorite Books

Hello, everybody!

I've compiled so many lists of books that I want to read, I thought I would make a list of books I have already read. Let's get right into it!
(In no particular order)

Into the Wild by Erin Hunter
I just finished up the 6th and last book in the first Warriors series. This series is so good! I'm really glad that lady at the bookstore recommended it to me, if not I would have missed out on something awesome. :P Eagerly awaiting for that other annoying person who is also reading the Warriors series to return the second series to the library so that I can read it.
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
This book was I LOVED it. Even though I couldn't understand it as well as I will be able to in a few years I still LOVEEEEEEEEE this book. It is just...well...eeeeeh! <3
Katy by Mary Evelyn Notgrass
This book is ADORABLE. It's so happy and cute. When you read this book you feel like everything is right in the world. IT IS SO AMAZING. Really easy to read, too. But amazing. And sooo warm fuzzy and CUTE!
Okay I'll stop now. XD

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
Well this is one of the best books that I've ever read. End of story.

The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare
Yes, I finally got to reading this book! I finished it in half a day. It was AMAZING. Probably one of my favorite books, and the best one of Speare's books by far!!

Well, that's it.  I just realized a lot of books on my To-Read list made it onto here. I have good taste. :P
Thanks for reading everyone!

To Read - September 2015

Hey guys!

So, green means I did read the book and red means I didn't.

The Hobbit
LOTR Trilogy
Pat of Silver Bush
Heartbreak Trail
The Witch of Blackbird Pond
Cherry Ames, Student Nurse
Charlotte Sometimes
Wonderland Creek
The Emerald Atlas

Ummm...yikes. XD Fortunately I made a trip to the library today, and I got The Witch of Blackbird Pond and The Emerald Atlas (well, at least the audio book version). I am on the waiting list for The Hobbit, too.
And here is some more stuff to be put on my TBR list....

The Vanishing Shadow by Margaret Sutton
As I mentioned before, I am a big fan of vintage books and especially mysteries, so when I heard about Judy Bolton I wanted to read it. I've looked on Applewood's website and they seem to have most of her books in print, and although they are expensive I just might have to order one or two. :)
Judy Bolton is spunky, she has red hair and she isn't perfect. Plus she ages throughout the series and then gets married! She sounds like my type of girl. I love series that make their characters grow and mature - I don't know why. xP
Except in the case of Trixie Belden, as you get further and further into the later books she gets more and more Nancy Drew-like. But who am I to go around hating on Nancy Drew? I'm re-reading all of her books....

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Frank L. Baum
I've seen the movie, and would like to read the books and the rest of the series that goes along with it!
Jack and Jill by Louisa May Alcott
It looks like a cute book and it's by one of my favorite authors. :)
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
I actually have a copy of this book (it's not the Puffin in Bloom one, sadly :( But I want to get all of the Puffin in Bloom collection so hopefully it will be in my possession soon) but I still have yet to read it.
Well, that's it for this post! Thanks for reading! :)

recently - #2

Hey everyone!

Nancy Drew. I used to love them when I was little. Now I'm re-reading them and getting all nostalgic. XD

Narnia fanfiction about a peasant girl named Holly who meets the Kings and Queens of Narnia. No specific plot. Just because I'm in a Narnia mood this week. (I always am, but this week especially. XD)

Listening To

The Brady Bunch...what else?
I love Marcia. :D
And Alice's pants in that Grand Canyon three-parter.

Other Stuff
I went to a fair. It was fun! While there we saw cars smashing each other up, and I actually enjoyed it!
I'm on the red book in my history! I can't wait to start up school again, mostly because of history. I'm in the 1900's now. WOOP!!

I Came Through Violet Vale -L.M. Montgomery

Hey guys!

Today I thought I would do a fashion post. These pictures were taken by my sister last Sunday, because I really liked my whole outfit and I persuaded her to take a photoshoot of me.

I asked Jo to get a close-up of my shoes - I forgot she doesn't know how to zoom in yet. xD

Dress: This dress I found at a thrift store. It looks very 90's, but I didn't care because I loved the style and the shade and just everything about this dress. XD I got quite a few compliments on it.
Hat: Also a thrift store find!  It's a dark shade of purple and then has lighter purple flowers. It has quite a bit of black tulle on it too.
Shoes: Got these from Kmart.

Well, that's it! I really enjoy fashion blogging, you can look out for another post like this one soon! :)

susan's letter - part 3

**Spoilers for The Last Battle, the last Narnia book**
I tore open the letter slowly, half expecting it to be some kind of joke.

"Dear Su,
"Hi - it's Peter. I just wanted to write you this to let you know we're all safe here in the real Narnia. You don't have to worry - we're doing well.
"From Peter, Lucy and Ed."

And from that moment on, I believed in Narnia.

"Where am I?" I thought, dazed. I looked around - and saw beautiful, gorgeous, clear mountains in the distance. I held the yellowed letter in my hand as I picked up my skirts and ran.

Soon I came up to some gates. I stopped, glanced up, and then pushed them open.

My siblings -  could see them. With a joyful cry I ran into their arms.

"Pete, Lu, Ed! I've missed you all so much!" I said, laughing as I pinched Lucy's cheek.

"Welcome to the real Narnia, sister." Edmund announced, making a grand gesture with his hand.

All their life in this world and all their adventures in Narnia had only been the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story which no one on earth has read: which goes on for ever: in which every chapter is better than the one before....
