My Halloween Costume for 2014

Hey guys!

Happy (very late) Halloween! I hope everybody had a fun time trick-or-treating/cosplaying/handing out candy/going around in a black masks and scaring innocent unsuspecting people (somebody did that to my friend xD)

Well, anyway, I haven't had a chance to get pictures of my (AWESOME) Halloween costume I wore this year, so I decided I'd show you some pictures Jo took of me a long time ago with my previous Halloween costume from last year.

Can you guess who I was?
Yep, I was Susan from Narnia. I tried to copy her archery dress from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. (And no, that's not me. That the costume my dress was modeled after.)

I didn't get any good pictures of the front of the dress, though - sorry about that!

My lovely hair...which I didn't even brush that morning...

I tried to get the costume as accurate as possible by using green fabric (they didn't have any dark green so I had to settle for Olive). Then my mom insisted on using a golden fabric for the accents on the dress instead of white.
But, although it doesn't really look like Susan's archery dress at all, it resembles it (somewhat), and the pattern is GORGEOUS.

I had completely forgotten about the amazing back lacing until I pulled it out to get these pictures. It's amazing!
Kudos to my mom for sewing this AMAZING gown! She also made my Halloween costume for 2015, which I will be showing you soon, as well as how I made it!

Thanks for reading! :) I will try to get the giveaway up soon; I'm still working on making money to pay for shipping costs.
